Loganair’s Charity Partnership with Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS)
Together, we fly higher.Since 2021, Loganair and CHAS have been united in a single mission: to keep the joy alive for children with life-shortening conditions and their families. This partnership is not just about financial support, it is about shared experiences, real connections, and providing moments of happiness in the face of unimaginable challenges.
We are proud to stand with CHAS as their official airline partner, delivering vital care, unforgettable adventures, and heartfelt memories across Scotland.
Our Commitment in Action
Flight support to change lives
Loganair provides complimentary flights for CHAS's specialist outreach team, CHAS at Home Nurses, ensuring families in Scotland’s most remote communities receive the care they need.
From Shetland to Stornoway, these flights bring nursing care, physiotherapy, emotional support, and financial guidance directly to families’ homes.
Magical Family Flights
Each year, we charter exclusive flights for CHAS families, giving children their first-ever experience of flight. From scenic tours of the Highlands to soaring with superheroes and Disney favourites, these joyful journeys create lifelong memories.

Fundraising that lifts
In 2024 alone, Loganair raised over £36,700 through staff initiatives, events, and point-of-sale donations.
Overall highlights include:
- The Saab 340 Farewell charity day in 2024 raising £18,500
- Skydives, Kiltwalks, raffles, and the Great North Run
- Over £33,000 in customer donations through £2 checkout contributions
Staff volunteering
From clearing garden paths to planting sensory spaces, Loganair volunteers have donated time and labour to support the grounds of Robin House in Balloch.
Our airplane-shaped planter now sits proudly among the gardens, symbolising our lasting connection.
Why this partnership matters
CHAS offers hospice care at Rachel House, Robin House, and through its ‘CHAS at Home’ nursing programme.Their work is a lifeline to over 300 families every year, providing care, dignity, and support when it is needed most. Our partnership ensures that distance, cost, or geography never stand in the way of CHAS reaching those who rely on them.
